Bua means lotus in Thai, in recognition to our country. In Thailand the lotus represents Thai culture and buddhism. At Bua Thai we offer a variety of dishes from central Bangkok. The founder, Par Moni opened Bua Thai Restaurant in 2002. She is a chef from Thailand who moved to Toronto and worked at the first Thai restaurant in Canada. Her passion as a chef inspired her to open the first Bua Thai on Avenue Road. Joined by our family, we opened the present day location. Our secret to cook is to use fresh ingredients in all our recipes. Our family continues to serve you with care in our heart.
